Is this a physio clinic or fitness studio?

Function is a hybrid space where physiotherapy and fitness come together under one roof. Our team of qualified physios and instructors work collaboratively to help you move better, recover smarter, and train stronger.

What is the initial assessment all about?

Your first session starts with a detailed assessment to understand your pain, injury history and goals. We then assess how you move and identify what’s driving the issue. From there, we begin targeted treatment and outline a personalised rehab plan designed specifically for you.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of pain and injury conditions, including:

- Back and neck pain

- Shoulder, hip and knee injuries

- Sports injuries (sprains, strains, tendon pain)

- Post-surgical rehabilitation

- Chronic pain conditions

- Headaches, dizziness and nerve-related pain

How long are the appointments?

Initial appointment is 45 mins which allows for history taking and treatment. Follow up sessions are usually 30 mins, your practitioner might recommend 45 mins for more complex conditions.

Do we accept Medicare EPC referrals or NDIS?

Yes! We accept Medicare with a gap.

What should I bring or wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily (e.g. activewear or gym clothes). You may be asked to perform simple movements during your assessment. If you have any relevant scans or reports, feel free to bring them. Otherwise, just bring yourself.

Do you have parking?

Yes there is underground parking. Entrance for Rhodes Central is located on Marquet Street. If you park near the lifts, take it straight up to level 1 and look for the purple signage!
